Sustainability – Responsibility in Action

As a third-generation family business, we think long-term. For us, responsibility means not only producing high-quality and effective cosmetic products but also handling the resources available to us consciously.

We view sustainability as a continuous process. We regularly review our products, packaging, production workflows, and operational processes to identify where we can save resources, use materials more sustainably, and reduce environmental impact.

Our goal is clear: we want to make our business activities as environmentally conscious and resource-efficient as possible – from manufacturing and packaging to shipping.

We also pay close attention to the selection of suitable materials for our product packaging.
For instance, we have always used glass bottles as a core part of our product packaging. Glass is high-quality, durable, and can be returned to the recycling loop.
For our cardboard and paper packaging, we use exclusively FSC®-certified materials. The FSC® seal stands for wood and paper from responsibly managed forests and other controlled sources.
In this way, we combine product protection, quality, and a more responsible approach to natural resources.
For us, sustainability does not end with the product. The journey our products take to reach our customers is also part of it.
That is why we completely avoid plastic and films in our shipping packaging.
Together with our partner for packaging solutions, TransPak GmbH, we have selected FSC®-certified shipping boxes and wrapping papers. They are made from responsibly sourced, renewable raw materials and can be fully returned to the recycling loop after use.
By doing so, we not only want to make our own material use more conscious but also support our customers in making waste separation and disposal as easy as possible.

Our Adhesive Tape
We pay attention to material choice even in the smallest details. The adhesive tape we use is designed to be bio-circular and is fully recyclable. According to the manufacturer, it is produced CO₂-neutrally and has a bio-based circular content of 99%.
In this way, we consistently try to view our shipping packaging as a complete system – from the box and filling material to the adhesive tape.
For us, a responsible approach to resources also means avoiding waste as much as possible and keeping materials in the loop for as long as possible. In our operations, we therefore ensure consistent waste separation and the professional delivery of suitable materials for recycling. Production materials are collected separately and returned to the recycling loop wherever possible and sensible. At the same time, we work to avoid rejects right from the production process. Careful planning, controlled workflows, and conscious material use help us to use resources efficiently and reduce unnecessary waste. From our perspective, the best waste is the one that is never created in the first place.
We are also consistently converting our operational mobility to new drive systems.
Our fleet consists exclusively of fully electric vehicles. This allows us to avoid local exhaust emissions during driving and reduce the use of fossil fuels in our corporate mobility.
We source 100% green electricity from renewable energies for our operations.
The origin of the electrical energy we use is therefore an important part of our sustainability concept – in production as well as in administration, warehouse, and electromobility.

Sustainability is Not a Finished Project

We know that responsible business is not achieved with individual measures. Materials change, new technologies emerge, and production processes can be further developed. That is why we view sustainability as an ongoing task.
As a family business, we think not just about the next fiscal year, but about the next generation.
That is exactly why we want to continue implementing changes in the future where they are sensible, transparent, and permanently effective.

With our new premises in Goerzwerk Berlin, we are creating the conditions for resource-efficient work at both the building and site levels.

Modern LED lighting helps to reduce power consumption. Intelligent heating control allows heat to be used more effectively according to demand, avoiding unnecessary energy consumption.
Furthermore, the use of solar energy plays an important role. Photovoltaics support a more sustainable energy supply at the site and complement our sourcing of green electricity from renewable sources.

A dedicated charging infrastructure is also available for our fully electric vehicles. In this way, we directly link our decision for electromobility with the energetic possibilities of our company location.
Our new premises in Goerzwerk Berlin thus also represent our commitment to integrating sustainability not just into our products, but into our entire daily business operations.

For us, sustainability means more than environmental and climate protection. As a third-generation family business, we also understand sustainable business as responsibility toward our employees, our region, and society.
Long-term employment relationships and a partnership based on trust are important components of our corporate culture. We want to create a work environment in which experience, knowledge, and competence can grow and be passed on over many years. The training and support of young people is also part of our responsible and intergenerational entrepreneurship. Passing on knowledge and creating professional perspectives is an investment in the future for us.
